Resumo: The hosting organization is a Non Governmental, Non Profit Organization based in Cyprus, established on March 2014, managed by a team of passioned youth workers and acts at national and European level. Among the main aims of the hosting organization is contribution to the positive social changes in the society by promoting effective communication, inter-cultural and intergenerational dialogue, facilitating understanding among people and establishment of harmonic co-existence.

The hosting organization has been established to support young people mainly from Nicosia but open to all young people allover of Cyprus within the framework of non formal education. ***Together with European Volunteers we are creating a platform for young people to help them to reach their goals .As organization, we are working with and for the youth. We encourage their involvement by facilitating innovative free time activities, stimulating their creativity, developing different skills and sharing information. We support youngsters to use and develop their capacities, and to actively participate in the construction of a united Europe to create one European platform for informal cooperation.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Volunteers with fewer opportunities and more specifically young people with either economic and geographical obstacles and young people outside employment, education and training, with strong interest on volunteering will be strongly encouraged to participate in the project. Moreover, volunteers are expected to be willing to work in groups, be open-minded and ready to take initiatives and accept challenges. Our future volunteers are excepted to be willing and ready for new challenges and experiences, creative, with no fears for taking responsibilities and willing to work in a team.

Tarefas: The project is an ongoing ESC volunteering project for 6 months. Firstly, the participants will be given the opportunity to participate in a project that will enhance their skills, make them more confident with higher self-esteem, and that will give them the chance to be creative and innovative, bring in new ideas and brainstorm, and finally learn how an NGO functions. Through volunteering, the participants will be given the opportunity to learn through non-formal and informal learning, and they will be given full support to unfold the full potential of their skills and creativity. Furthermore, the volunteers will receive thorough training on how an NGO works, on how to train other people, and in general, they will learn through hands-on experience with tangible results. Additionally, the volunteers will learn how to adjust to a new culture and a new language, and how to work in a multicultural environment and as a part of a team
