Resumo: Since its founding in 2004, the organization followed its mission that is to develop volunteerism as a means of involving citizens in solving out the problems of the community. Also, we focused on hosting international volunteers and sending Romanian volunteers to do volunteering stages in organizations throughout Europe.

Starting this autumn, we plan to host 6 volunteers, 4 international and 2 from Romania, in order to create a large impact on the community. They will have various activities, where they can develop both personally and professionally on varied levels, for 10 months, starting September 1st 2019 and until 30 June 2020.

They will be split in 2 pairs, 4 of them will work with pupils 4 days a week at the School and 1 day in the office, and the other 2 volunteers will work all 5 days to promote volunteering and also observing the methods and the curricula used in a School and multiply them in 2 public schools one in the rural and urban area.

Perfil: • age between 18-30
• interested in Human Rights, Global Education, Education for Sustainable Development and Peace Education.
• Interested in non-formal methodology
• motivation to learn Romanian language, in order to improve the relationship with the beneficiaries
• advanced English speaking and writing skills
• good planning skills for the lessons and other education activities
• good communication skills
• responsibility, patience and tolerance
• open-mindedness
• we are open to offer a place for participants who face challenges such as social, economic, geographical and physical.
• Age: 18-30

Tarefas: In Green School:
• contribute to children's lessons: health, wellbeing, human rights, European values; about how to live a healthy life;
• facilitate nature-based activities for children and youth;
• planning and implementing at least 4 educational projects that are related with solidarity. The main themes in School are working with are Human Rights, Global Education, Education for Sustainable Development and Peace Education.
• take care of the school garden and teach children to contribute and to grow different plants and vegetables;
• teach children to take care of animals (chickens, cats and a dog);
• feed the animals and take care of the plants.

In office:
• promoting volunteering and all the solidarity activities of the volunteers online and offline (editing photos, making short movies, posting on Facebook, Youtube and blog).
• planning and hosting events for promoting ESC, volunteering in the local and national community;
• planning and implementing workshops with the 4 volunteers active in Green School. These workshops will be implemented in who other schools who do not have access to a green pedagogy. They will take place twice a month in each school.
