Resumo: While working with us you will be focusing on cutting and editing material, as well as the maintenance of our archive. You will assist in filming in various cultural institutions in Bremen and other cities and learning while dealing and working with the video camera. In our daily work, we are using Avid Media Composer, a professional program for video editing. Prior knowledge in using the program is not necessary. You will get to know the national dance scene from Bremen and Lower Saxony from another side because you will be exchanging video materials and giving them also to dancers and choreographers that collaborate with the Institute.

Perfil: The Volunteer should be able to communicate, write and understand the German language. Suggested minimum language level: B1. The position will focus on communicating with locals and our partners so good German skills are important for the success of the project. The volunteer should be interested in creative work , previous experience in this area is desirable, but not mandatory. IT skills are important since communication will be mostly online and the project reports and other relevant activities are also written on the computer. (Office)

Tarefas: In addition, you will be dealing with the archiving of media in a specially developed database. Your tasks will also consist of doing local workshops for different age groups who are interested in dance and movies. The topic of the workshop will depend on the needs of the community.
