Condições: All the candidates will be selected through the NNVS's and SFERA's selection process for participation on the project. The selection process involves a written CV, motivation letter and possibly of an interview. All received applications will be considered.
All the candidatures are discussed and selected on the following criteria:
- motivation to work with youth, children, adults and old people;
- readiness to work hard, because it's not so easy to work in the different conditions, with international - team, with other educational system and in the other language;
- readiness to learn Russian and to communicate in Russian;
- readiness to promote his\her own national culture.
The most important criteria is strong motivation to do voluntary service and learn a lot from the project!
Formação: As a non-governmental organisation whose activities of long-term voluntary exchange strengthen more and more, NNVS develops projects that contribute to personal development of volunteers that we host. We consider that each project gives special and unique opportunities for each volunteer and that each volunteer gains not only practical knowledge in wide aspects of ways how an NGO functions in its everyday work, but also that each volunteer gains intercultural experience and develops as a person. Furthermore, the EVS volunteers we have earlier hosted have represented an added value for our organisation and almost inevitably became a part of NNVS.
The main motivation for NNVS serving as a hosting organisation are volunteers' personal development, experience that the volunteers and other involved in the projects gain, and contribution that the volunteers make to our organisation. We consider the contact of our volunteers with the youth in one or the other way involved in the organisation very important, since this is the way how main ideas of EVS and Youth in Action Programme spread.
Voluntary Service of Nizhniy Novgorod has been involved in the EVS programme since 2001 and worked as hosting and supporting organization. SFERA was one of the NNVS projects and in 2007 SFERA was registered as separated interregional voluntary movement. Nowadays NNVS works in very close partnership with SFERA as its "contact point for EVS".
