Resumo: The culture centre activities to do are connected with:
• Development and use of technical skills by creating and assisting cultural and free time events.
• Creating of afterschool events to attract youth to the culture centre, like:
o foreign language lessons,
o creative workshops,
o event creation
o youth meetings
o assist in creation of planned local events
o share volunteers countries cultural and traditional events –
o dancing, singing, music, food etc.
o Help to widen the receiver information via the social networks, and help to prepare publicity campaigns (e.g. posters).
o In cooperation with nearby kinder garden, school, history museum and library - create joint events and activities for different target groups.(kids, youth, elderly people)
o Learning to work with light and sound systems for event management.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: - work with kids from different age groups.
- Participate in local activities made by centre workers
- Create activities for kids and youth from local village
- Participate in local municipalities entertainment and culture activities.
- Do creative activities connected with art.
- Assist children with afterschool activities.
- Chance to children with English homeworks.
- Learn Latvian culture and traditions.
- Teach native language to children and/or youth.
- If possible teach English to the targetgroup
- Create own activities that are interested to attract youth
- Share culture by cultural evenings, songs, cooking, culture events.
- Develop presentation skills by presenting the country to other institutions, and promoting the EVS program

Horário: Volunteer will have 30-36 hour working week, but will have opportunity to prepare also at home if discussed with management and it its better than coming to work place. Important chance will be to join other volunteers (total there will be 14 volunteers in the area in this project) and to create common activities and do activities not only in the main working Volunteering service place, but also in other – Kindergarden, Schools, Youth centers, culture center.

Condições: The living and all needed (cooking, bedroom etc.) for that will be provided, in 10-15 minutes bus drive from the work place and living place . Good public communication to the capital.

Monthly money received will be 240 EUR (120 for food, 120 for pocket money), in addition transport costs will be covered to get to activity places.

Living will be together of 2-3 volunteers in one 2-3 bedroom apartment. Kitchen bathroom and dining place is common.

Telecommunication, and internet is provided upon arrival.

All expenses will be returned upon arrival or otherwise agreed.
