Resumo: The main aims of the Association are:
• to promote international co-operation and understanding between young people from different countries and different cultures
• to provide young people with the opportunity to gain international experience for their personal and professional development
• making young people aware of their cultural heritage, as the base of their awareness
• to develop regional, national and European consciousness of young people
• promotion of volunteering- local and international, as a way towards active citizenship,
• promoting of international co-operation and understanding among young people from different countries and cultures
• to support interest of young people in historical and political reality in Europe
• to encourage involvement of young people in cultural initiatives
• to promote Poland and the Lower Silesia region in Europe

The main profiles of our Association are:
• International Youth Exchanges –e.g. artistic and educational workshops
• Voluntary Service- national and international field
• International internship – mainly through Leonardo da Vinci programme
• Cultural Events
• Civil and democracy education – cooperate with youth councils in the region
• Conferences, Trainings and Seminars for young leaders and youth workers

Perfil: We're looking for a volunteer who is eager to develop in the area of
working with children and youth. Creativity, passion, enthusiasm,
ability to implement new ideas and having experience in working as a part of
group are also important for the volunteer to have. What is more he/she has
to be patient, friendly and empathic, but in the same time able to create
the relation of authority and discipline in a group. Concerning the fact that the
group of Polish and EVS volunteers will be responsible for creating of
Multicultural Language Café planning and organizational skills and previous
experience in cooperation in multicultural groups can also be useful.

Tarefas: Main activities proposed to the volunteers are connected with creating a place
where children and youth can spend after-class-time in a creative way
through developing their interests and cooperation in a group. The activities
run by the volunteers will be organized in a Multicultural Language Café, a
kind of children and youth club, where most of the events will take place.
• creating and running workshops in the area of intercultural dialogue,
tolerance an d human rights
• animating free time of youth giving them a chance to experience the
diversity of Europe.
• organizing activities like watching films, discussions, presentation, local
cultural events such as: happenings, little performances, making
movies, photography, exhibitions, karaoke
It’s important that during the project the volunteer will cooperate with
other EVS and Polish volunteers to create and run the activities. Additional
activities include language workshops (for groups and for individuals),
promotion of participation in European programs with special emphases on
Youth in Action program and some administrative and documenting work
connected with realization of the project

Condições: Volunteers will receive regular support from the early beginning of the project. Since first weeks they will assist in simple
activities. In the mean time there will be meetings with a tutor – a person responsible for volunteers’ tasks and work to
discus their current work and plans. If the activities concern working with children under age on 18, a volunteer will never be
fully responsible for them, as the responsability is always on the instructor’s side. Volunteer will not replace the normal worker,
although will participate in decision making process and in team meetings. Also after arrival volutneers will participate in special
tranings (such as communitaction, conflict management, basic introduction about human rights, groups work etc.) prepared for
them by host organization.IMPORTANT!
VOLUNTEERS ARE OBLIGATED TO PAY 10% OF TRAVEL COSTS.

Formação: Since the year of 2000 we are constantly hosting and sending EVS volunteers, as well as coordinating EVS projects in other organisations/institutions in Poland and partner countries. We gained already great experience, especially in designing a good working placement for volunteers, in selection procedures, motivation, evaluation and establishing international partnerships. On the other hand EVS volunteers always become a part of our everyday life and a part of the team. There are four major reasons why we would like to continue working with European volunteers and EVS programme:
1. Our team benefits greatly from contact with an international volunteer and from her/his work. A volunteer provides us a variety of new ideas, and sometimes even methods for the youth work
2 A possibility to be in contact with an international volunteer as well as a possible chance to go abroad for such a programme simply attracts young people to come to us and join our activities. Also those who come back from EVS abroad are great source of knowledge, experience and help us in further work. Bringing a foreign volunteer to Wroc³aw/ the region, is a great opportunity for youngsters to have regular contact with a foreigner. It strengthens their interest and helps them to overcome prejudices and stereotypes.
4. We do see the change and the impact a volunteer has on the people he/she works with and on the local environment. We find it valuable and threfore, we would like to continune our work. .
5. We developed a strong partnership and cooperation with other institutions in Wroc³aw and in the region. For the last years we worked together to improve the projects, their quality and impact and therefore, it would be a pitty to stop it and a loss for those who get influenced by volunteers’ work and presence. As a proof our hard work and effort we have been also reccommended to other organizations by our current partners and we are working now on preparing a new accredditaion.
