Resumo: The high school is a general, technological and professional high school with 1400 pupils.

Perfil: We are looking for 2 volunteers from all European Union countries, from 18' up to 30'. Basic skills in French are requested as well as basic IT competencies. Indeed, the pupils ahev a very bad level in English, that's why it's important to be able to communicate with them in French. Candidates should have : - a good contact with youngsters - team work ability - the willingness to set up and lead activities - be actively involved in the activities - a strong motivation

Tarefas: he EVS volunteer will work at the student’s common house and at the information and documentation centre.
In close relation with the librarians, the EVS volunteers will:
- welcome the pupils
- Help in the electronic sorting, archiving and lending of books
- Set up animations (on his country/culture, traditional fests, etc.) With the pupil’s dedicated space, the Cafeteria (called in French breizh cafet): - set up topical workshop (fight against discriminations, freedom of the press, music, cinema, Europa, etc.) - find and contact external speaker, take part in meetings, set up projects with pupils - create diaporama and organise exhibitions on different topics (Arts, Culture, etc.) - participate in the classes (depending on the volunteer background/profile/skills) : fight against harassment, introduce his/her home

Condições: The 2 volunteers will be accommodated together in a renovated flat on the high school site. Each one will get his/her own bedroom and will share kitchen and bathroom with the other one. Each volunteer will get 250€ each month to prepare his/her own meals. But it's also possible to eat at the high school self-service restaurant during the week (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and to get money for the others meals/days. The volunteer will get a monthly subscription, for free, to bus and tramway network.
