Resumo: This project was born in the aftermath of the earthquake that hit the Central part of Italy in 2016. The general object of the project Youthquake is the social, economic, physical, communal, reconstruction of the zones of the Central Italy hit by the earthquake between August 2016 and January 2017.

An important aspect of the project is the promotion of solidarity, volunteering and active citizenship trough the sending and the receipt of volunteers in some areas damaged by the earthquake. Reconstruction of communities and their social and economic heritage means also promotion of the territory through the support of its cultural initiatives.
The host town is a small middle-age hamlet, about 30 km from the National Park, it is known for its redevelopment project, which presents since 2010 a new and sustainable idea of development for inner areas. First as a Festival of Sustainability then as a repopulation project of the village, The project bases its action on local handcraft and artistic works in order to support the sustainable development of rural areas.

Perfil: - Interest in artisan or technical work
- Good physical conditions
- Experience in manual work and ability to use basic tools (Preference)
- Knowledge of Italian language (Preference)
- Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The whole mobility is set in the village of Ripe San Ginesio and develops in three phases: The construction days, life in the village and the festival.

1.The first part of the mobility (5 days) consists in the construction of structures in bio architecture and reuse materials, guided by two local expert. The structures are thought to rearrange common spaces and enhance the peculiarities of the village. The volunteers tasks will be will be: to help in practical and artistic activities, such as the creation of wooden structures and mounting of shadings. Specifically, There will be created:
A. Bamboo working group (4 people): They will assist and support the whole process of construction with bamboo: collection and cleaning of reeds and the plantation; fire treatment; transport; splitting; cutting and punching; implementation. The participant of this group might travel daily, where respectively the bamboo plantation and the laboratory are located.

B. Art installation (3 people): They will work on the preparation of the panels for the main stage and the shadings which will be used during the festival. The participants of this group will be stay for this time in a residence.

C. Urban design (3 people): They will work in the village in support of the local logistics, expecially in the organization of the camping and other common spaces

2. The second part (3 days) the volunteers will have the possibility to discover the village together. There will be organized some activities in order to explore the territory such as a walk to the neighbouring (on Saturday); also on on Sunday they will have the occasion to meet the local activities (a craft brewery, a ceramist and a reuse-jeweler)

3. The third part (6 days) the volunteers will be involved in Festival that aimed to raise awareness among the local population on the local natural heritage and cultural promotion of the territory. In this frame the participants will have the possibility to be part of the organization and together enjoy the festival activities. Specifically, volunteers will work in contact with locals, helping in practical duties and the management of the kinder space.

24 June – 28 June: Construction days (working groups)
29 June – 1 July: Discovery of the territory
2 July – 7 July: Activity in support of the Borgofuturo Festival
8 July: Day of departure

Condições: Material and equipment that volunteers should bring:
- Sleeping bag and pillow
- Trekking shoes, comfortable and technical clothing, rain jacket, light windbreaker, hat
- Backpack (capacity 30-40 liters) and water bottle
