Resumo: The high school is a versatile high school of 1400 students and students in September 2015. It welcomes very diverse audiences who prepare either a general bachelor, or technological, or professional, or a certificate of senior technician. We note in this school a great social mix. The development of numerous cultural, scientific, linguistic and sports projects promotes a calm climate and enhances the attractiveness of the establishment. We are in contact with the Lorient Youth Information Office, which is accredited to coordinate mobility projects.

Perfil: The volunteer will be selected depending on her/his motivations and ability to lead a group of high school-students and run artistic and cultural activities. (S)he shall be between 20 and 30 years of age and have to show self-reliance. In this project is fundamental for the volunteer to be independent, autonomous and creative in the proposition of activities. A good approach and relation with the student it’s a must. It would be appreciated if she/he could have a minimal command of French.

Tarefas: S)he will be given the opportunity to implement cultural and artistic activities instrumental in developing high school-students’ skills and initiatives. e.g. organising the high-school film-society, theatrical or musical workshops. (S)he will team up with teachers and foreign students to set up open-minding activities targeting European cultures and will take part in lessons to make presentations of her/his own country and culture.

According to interests and contribution capacities (s)he will provide educational support to high-school students. e.g. school work assistance, and eventually assistance in foreign languages. (S)he will participate in works about citizenship and european links Group projects, common to other volunteers in Lorient will be carried out, through joint work times and will represent enriching exchange opportunities for high schools.
