Resumo: The hosting organization is active on the field of non-formal education of young people on global issues and training for social competences as well as for learning democracy. The pedagogical basis for the work is the integral, social education-based work with groups with the focus on non-formal children, youth and adult education in the parish.

To the field of activity are belonging multiplier trainings as well as campaign work and public actions. The topics are for example: global and regional fair trade, human and children’s rights, sustainable development objectives, consumption, solidarity-based economy, intercultural learning with foreigners and migrants, exposure to conflicts and tolerance, learning and living democracy.

The aims of our work:-to bring the participants into a process, in which social and group-dynamical situations and connections can be recognized and valued-to accompany the participants in the development of their own options of actionThe field of the supporting activity of EVS volunteers extends over 2 areas:firstly in the non-formal education of young people on global issues and secondly at the work of Eine Welt Promotor in different church-related projects on the topic of non-formal education on global issues.

After a theory and practice training of the activity field, the volunteers will be involved with their individual skills and competences in the development, preparation, realization and post-processing of educational projects. Documentation as well as PR and networking are part of the activity as well.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Volunteers will be selected on the basis of the applications received (motivation letter and CV). Criteria for the work in the field of development policy and youth work Global Learning are: openness, communication skills, responsibility, fun to work with people and previous social engagement in their home country. Experience in working with people, as well as basic knowledge of the German language is an advantage but not compulsory. Gender, nationality, religion and degrees or certificates are irrelevant. All applications we receive will be forwarded to the project leaders.
