Resumo: The coordinating organization is a not-for-profit organisation created in 1993. The organization is a youth information centre which is a part of a network of 1500 info spot throughout France.
The coordinating organization is running by a team of 6 professionals which involves a general manager, an account and administration assistant, an international mobility project officer, 2 project officers and a numeric project leader.
Its main goals is inform youngsters between 16 and 35 and caters to the needs of young people on subjects such as education, vocational training, jobs, employment, cultural offering or sporting events. But also on issues like housing and health or even individual rights or international mobility (jobs, voluntary participation, education and work or training placement).
For that it has a documentation section with a free access to Internet where the welcoming is free, anonymous and adapted to the demand.
Perfil: The hosting organization is an educational structure that accommodates (during the day and boarding accommodation) children and adolescents with disabilities (intellectual disability, autism, multiple disabilities) from 06 to 20 years of age, in different groups according to their age, their autonomy and their needs. That's why, we would like to host people motivated to support adolescents with disabilities. Previous experience and interest in computer science and sports are also welcome. French basics are preferable.
Age: 18-30
Tarefas: The volunteer will focus on a sector welcoming adolescents aged 14 to 20 (with autism and / or intellectual disability) who have been identified with abilities and an interest in working. These young people benefit from apprenticeships in the context of vocational training workshops. They also have a certain autonomy in their daily lives. They can manifest certain behavioral disorders. The volunteer may also be involved with other children and / or adolescents of the EMI. The volunteer will intervene initially in support of professionals in various activities for young people with disabilities: - Sports activities (football, swimming, athletics, judo, badminton, horse riding, bodybuilding, motor activities, basketball ...) - Computer workshop, social networks, video - Learning activities of daily living (shopping, walking or taking public transport, making medical appointments ...)
