Resumo: Actor of Education for Citizenship and International Solidarity, the hosting organization brings together forty solidarity associations. It is a center of documentary and educational resources open to all audiences. It is a place that raises awareness about human rights, solidarity, world cultures and citizenship. The organization organizes conferences, literary meetings, cinema-debate, intercultural animations, educational interventions, training of associations, loan of tools ... The organization coordinates the festivals in partnership with the town hall.
The association supports young people wishing to go abroad, on a case-by-case « basis, individually or in groups, relying on the member associations.
The association is recognized of general interest and is approved youth and popular education.

The missions are:
- build and lead workshops on solidarity and world cultures: in schools;
- use the resia's teaching resources and create tools to sensitize different publics to the right to education in the world, to interculturality and citizenship.
- organize events as part of Festisol and Alimenterre (film debate, awareness event, conference for example).
- build and animate workshops around books on the theme of solidarity with elderly people
- share convivial moments with seniors.

Perfil: To select the volunteer, our only criteria is motivation, regarding two levels : the desire to live an intercultural experience and the will to work with young people, without any prerequisites, nor language, nor experience in this field.
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will participate in the program "1 roof 2 generations". This program allows the cohabitation between 1 young and a senior aged 60 years and more. Thus, the cohabitants: live together for 9 months, share moments of exchanges (computer, sewing, discussions, walks, meals etc.).
