Resumo: In our organisation we run the (1) EDIC centre, which offers to people of local community an opportunity to get information about European Union. We also prepare programme for all target groups about European Union.
We also run a (2) Community centre in our building, where people from local community can connect, find new relations, sit, talk, have non-alcoholic drinks, and get inspired. We organize there different activities – inspirational breakfasts and evenings with interesting guests, movie projections, game evenings, discussions, quizzes etc.
We are providing also (3) Youth centre in Ústie nad Priehradou, where groups of young people come to join some of the development programmes or spiritual renewals. There is also a rope centre as a part of this centre and we offer there different non-conventional sports and games.

Few times a year we organize big events for general public or for young people and youth workers.
Volunteers are also send to schools, gymnasiums where they can help teachers assist in school clubs or at lessons (learning English, Logic, etc.) and develop their own youth work competences.

Perfil: Looking for responsible and carrying 18-30 years old volunteer respecting the functioning and religion principles of the hosting organization, its members and the local community. We do not require any specific knowledge or skills. The project is open to all young people who are motivated to learn, acquire new skills and experience in working with a with a non-profit organization, participate in organizational learning activities, and also want to develop their skills in working with people from the local community.

Tarefas: We would like to continue with the involving EVS volunteer into promotion of EVS. Volunteer also would help us to prepare the activities for young people in our organization in the Youth club like a Inspirative evenings, events, debates, International caffe, etc. and also helps us to prepare big yearly events, Inspirative conference STEP, Award of volunteers, etc... Part of time he/she will help in the kindergarten with teaching of English conversation and with some other activities.

The activities are very flexible.

Condições: Our volunteers will share a house and flat. Accommodation is provided with a standard equipment for the normal standard living. Volunteers will have their own room in the house. Volunteers have to respect rules of living in the flat and house. The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance of 310 / 315€ (including money for food – 150€, phone – 10€, 150/155€ pocket money, it depends on the number of days in month) for his own bank account. All travel costs connected with the project are covered.
