Resumo: IBO Italia is an NGO/Onlus which operates in Italy since 1957. Also known as Associazione Italiana Soci Costruttori. Our organization is part of a Network whose activities began in 1953 with the first workcamps for the reconstruction of houses destined for refugees of the Second World War. IBO is the Flemish acronym of Internationale Bouworde, which means
International Builder Members. The mission of IBO is to promote access to education and training as fundamental rights of every person and an opportunity for the whole community to change and at the same time toinvolve youngster in volunteering paths and sharing experiences in order to promote social commitment, participation and responsibility

Perfil: … are between 18-30 years old
… are resident in Romania and Portugal
… haven’t participate at a SVE/ESC project for longer than 59 days
… have knowledge of English (B2)
… preferred knowledge of Italian (not compulsory)
… have high motivation to live experience in the world of volunteeringng

Tarefas:  support during the organization of local events
 organize and participate in activities and campaigns to promote volunteering
 plan and participate in workshops in local schools and for the surrounding territory
 create visual content for the social media, communicate with partners and volunteers all over the world
 assist to the design of projects (for ex. youth exchanges, ESC projects)
 meetings and training for volunteers

Horário: Working time: 30 hours/week; generally from Monday to Friday.
Occasionally work during weekends is also possible (during events,
meetings, visiting workcamps, etc.) . It will be compensated with days off
during the week.

Condições: Travel costs: the volunteer’s travel costs from his/her country to Ferrara and back will be covered 100% if within the budget of ESC (max. 275 Euros round trip)

Accommodation: the volunteer will live at Casa IBO. Basic food is available at the house. You can cook your meals.
Volunteer’s allowance: you will have 5 Euros/day according to ESC rules. IBO will pay it each month to the volunteer

Language course: Italian on-line language course or course in a language school depending on the result of first language assessment

Insurance: complete health insurance is provided by CIGNA company according to the European Commission’s agreement
