Resumo: The association aims to undertake ventures in order to intervene on childhood and youth discomfort.
Since 1984 until nowadays lots of children and kids have been hosted in our houses, we promoted projects with assistance, support, cultural and professional education for them, eventually go along with them, by now grown, towards autonomy.
We promote the development of potentialities of children, kids and young adults with social and domestic disadvantages, believing that care and education (when consciously managed) can contribute to the solution of such problems.

Every child needs to grow up and be educated in a functional way within his family, but not always the family can meet those needs.

The association gives this answer where the family is lacking or totally inadequate and therefore absent. The child’s need becomes an open question and if it is not listened, it could become discomfort and lead to antisocial behaviour.

The aim of the project is:
• Increase the social inclusion of children;
• Provide new skills to volunteers;
• increase their job opportunities;
• promote the exchange of good practice in organizations involved in the project;
• try out new synergies.

Methodology:
- Participation in team meetings
- Learn by doing, always accompanied by a project operator

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: - Organize free time activities
- Assist the children in their daily activities (tidying the room, playing, cooking and eating together)
- Study together languages
- Laboratory
- Sporadically participate in fundraising activities, and so on

Condições: Volunteers will have:
- Food,
- Accommodation (in an apartment located in the district, the area is fairly peripheral but well-connected to the rest of the city and provided with all essential services),
- Pocket money,
- Monthly ticket for public transport,
- Language training,
- Meeting with the Mentor,
- Training in the contents of the project.
