Resumo: The hosting organization is a non-profit association born in 1997. Its main aim is the promotion and development of volunteering. It plans, manages and offers information offices, trainings, promotion events, communication services. TThe organization aims to encourage the active participation of youngsters and their sense of solidarity, supports the local associations to make activities for volunteering students and for young volunteers in general- promotes partnerships and exchanges between schools, associations and students, promoting the European Voluntary Service and the National Civil Service. The organization also wants to raise awareness among young people on European issues, encouraging them to participate actively in projects within the European Union.

Perfil: We are looking for someone who is open-minded, opened to meet other culture, interested in the current situation of the environment. Who is enthusiastic enough to find different solutions in the life of the town, to raise awareness of global warming, plastic waste, pollution… It is important for the volunteer, to live a healthy lifestyle and to take care of his/her environment. Our future volunteer is supposed to be motivated and creative to work alongside with other associations, to organize workshops and presentations. The volunteer has to be interested also to work in the back office activities. The volunteer must be an active person, happy to socialize with new people and collaborate with them.
The most important is the commitment and the openness to learn.
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: We have designed and put together the activities that each key competences can be developed based on the volunteers` interest and learning objectives. We emphasize on developing the intercultural and social competences of the volunteers.
Among many activities these can be involved in working, contact with local people, who might not speak that easily the common language, organize workshops, events, and share skills, knowledge and experiences with others. All international volunteers will learn Italian
Some of the possible activities:

The volunteer, followed by the hosting organization operators has to:
- Participate in all activities envisaged by the project
- Helping the organization to promote ESC and volunteering;
- Participate in the activities related to association that work for sustainable environment.
- Research News and best practices in Europe;
- Updating blog dedicated to European volunteering, support meetings for the dissemination of the opportunities offered by ESC, Erasmus+ and more generally on volunteering and of the country of origin;
- Support in the production of multimedia materials (video creation, presentations, slideshows...)
- Participate in the organization of events related to the promotion of volunteering
(…banquets, Festival of Volunteering, Festa Europa etc.. ...) and of the themes of the project ;
- Participate in team meetings of the organization;
- Participating in meetings with mentor and/or tutor and/or coordinator of the project.
The volunteer can share his/her own ideas regarding to the project.
