Tarefas: The Forest Kindergarten is one of the main activities of the association and offers an alternative form of pre-school education. It is based on the concept of forest nursery schools and is based on the open partnership of all involved - parents, children and teachers. It is open daily Mo-Fr to a group of up to 15 children aged 2.5 - 7 years. The afternoon club Skok aims to be a creative space for group of 16 children from lolal primary schools. It is open daily. It actively seeks to raise the environmental awareness of children from the rural environment through leisure activities and experiential education projects.

We run as well seasonal, environmentally-based programs for deeper exploration of the surrounding countryside, which are intended for the general public.
Our European Solidarity Corps project is connected with our main activities.
We have very good experiences with hosting long term volunteers, all of them are keeping contact with us and come back for visit.

We search for one volunteer, project is meant for 2 volunteers - one is already chosen from our longterm partners from Germany. We offer involvement across a wide range of activities in the daily functioning of our kindergarden and afternoon activities for school children. Volunteer will gain a variety of skills in the day to day functioning of a forest nursery, planning of interesting activities - games, trips, musical and art lessons, outdoor climbing, celebrations according to seasons, environemnatl programms, individual approach to children respecting their differences, new pedagogical trends (experiential, forest learning), non-violent conflict resolution based on open communication, organizing festivals, exhibitions and events, etc. Above all, however, the volunteer can develop healthy self-esteem, physical and mental fitness and social interaction skills across generations.
We offer the volunteer to really take a chance for personal and profesional development. In free time is possible to join local sports team, orchestra or give help in a different small organization.

As we are community based NGO , volunteer can join homes of different families from the community during the weekends. There one can get the insight into a particular part of the Czech society - young families who have chosen to live in the countryside according to sustainable living values. We trust that our settings and relationships are inspiring for volunteer’s future life and work. All children and parents are willing to built strong, loving and friendly relationships with volunteers during his/her internship. We percieve that it can be very enriching experience for young people to step out of their comfort zone and spend nearly a year in a small Czech countryside town.
