Resumo: The Foundation is a non-governmental and non-political organization. Our mission is to motivate Polish and Europeans citizens to active civic participation and to promote the European integration and the values on which it is based. We accomplish this mission among others by:
• engaging citizens in active participation in the process of European integration through taking part in discussions, formulating demands, contacting national and European institutions and the like
• making it easier for citizens to get to know other parts of Europe, their residents and local customs
• increasing the knowledge about the European Union, European countries, their culture, history, geography and languages
• facilitating contact, cooperation and relationship building between the citizens of Europe
• promoting European values, such as dignity and freedom of every human being, democracy, freedom of speech and religion, the rule of law, equality before the law, respect for minorities, solidarity
• creating civic attitudes, encouraging active participation in making use of civic democracy tools
• encouraging citizens to become interested and to express openly and actively their views on social, economic and political issues in their local communities, their country as well as of the whole Europe
• enhancing civic education and non-formal learning
• supporting voluntary service, including the international one
• making it easier for young people to start their adult professional, social and civic lives.

The Foundation primarily focuses on European Union. The Foundation can also perform activities in some other European countries – within the European Economic Area and candidate states or in the countries whose societies aspire to the membership in the European Union.
Activities of the Foundation include organizing conferences, seminars, debates and workshops, interactive activities such as simulations of elections and city games, coordinating a network of European Clubs, organizing cultural exchange projects and taking part in European voluntary movement. We cooperate with Polish and European partners from different sectors. Important target group of our activities is youth.

The biggest and most popular annual event organized by the Foundation are the Polish European Meetings, where thousands of Polish and European citizens and activists from different civic organizations meet to celebrate the Europe Day and exchange their ideas. Together we walk down the streets of Warsaw in the Parade. The Meetings are regarded as one of the most important annual event on European matters in Poland and an acknowledged platform for cooperation between NGOs, as well as a meeting and working place for politicians and experts on the currently most important issues.

Apart from personal motivation of volunteers our requirement is volunteers' strong will of learning Polish language after selection procedure successfully ends.
