Resumo: The project will take place in Baia Mare, jud. Maramures.
The city is situated in the Baia Mare valley and is encircled on all sides by hills and mountains, which makes the climate in the city milder than the rest of the surrounding area.
Maramures County is famous for its outstanding landscapes, and the mountains are easily accessible from the city.
Population: 123,738

The aim of this project is the personal development of 6 young foreign volunteers in the context of the social integration facility for disadvantaged children and young people.
An indicative profile for the 6 participants: to want to participate in an international activity, to be interested in non-formal education, project theme and social field, to be friendly, open and flexible.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: - socio-educational animation with disadvantaged young people (to mark various events: Roma Day, Youth Day, and during the activity of the mobile school),
- mobile school (literacy, mathematics, fundamental general knowledge),
- world café (theme- facilitating the integration of disadvantaged young people),
- events and photo-voice exhibition,
- intercultural evenings,
- dissemination activities,
- mentoring,
- participation in the Youth Summit in Romania,
- other activities proposed by the participants.
- Usual activities in Somaschi Foundation (playing, hiking, personal development sessions, literacy, creative activities, animation and other activities proposed by volunteers); to help the educators in the usual activities: social and recreational activities in Day Care Center and community Miani- foster home; support activities in the Mobile Unit (games, literacy, recreational activities, food distribution to homeless youngsters);

Day care Center- 25-30 beneficiares between 7-17 years old.
Miani Community(foster home)- 16 beneficiares between 7-17 years old
Mobile Unit- 20-30 beneficiares(homeless people).
