Perfil: We are ready to host open minded, creative, capable of working with team, self-reliant and responsible volunteers. Experience in work with children and youngsters will be an advantage. The most important criterion what we expect from cantidates is true motivation to do EVS and to spend time in small but nice Turkish town.

Tarefas: roposed activities for EVS volunteers:
Because Çanakkale Youth and Sports Club is one of the biggest local youth center in the city, it has lots of activities in which the volunteers participate. Besides the regular activities, the volunteers will work for the department of development by helping to prepare and organize new projects for youthers.

Generally, these are the roles of volunteers :

- Taking part in sports activities
- Preparation and coordinating games, exhibitions for children
- Preparation and coordinating national and international projects.
- Working with visually impaired people
- Preparation and coordinating of local and regional activities (training, youth camps, student exchanges)
- Providing the communication trainings in foreign language
- Preparing different and creative workshop (according the abilities and interests of the volunteers);
- Creating the promotional materials for the activities of the center.
- Participation in the trips for youngsters, students and in some case also with disabled peoples.
- Exchange of ideas for the new project and presentation
- Turkish lessons

Horário: Working days : From Monday to Friday
Workingh Hours : 10.00 – 17.00
Lunch Breaks : 13.00 – 14.00

Condições: Accomodation and Food
The EVS volunteer will be accommodated in a hostel in Çanakkale. The accommodation will be near the organization's office, on a walking distance of maximum 15-20 minutes. The volunteer will share bedroom and bathroom with other volunteers. All other practical issues will be solved directly with the volunteer.
We will give chance to volunteers try Turkish meal. They will receive the pocket money at the beginning of each week.

Formação: Risk prevention, protection and safety :
Çanakkale is a city that the crime rate is at minimum level.Youngsters can easily walk around the city during the day and night.The houses and hotels, volunteers will accommodate are chosen carefully from safe and grant regions.The people in charge who will take care of volunteers' needs are accountable, trustful and educated.
Our mentors that will guide our volunteers are well disiplined and each mentor has the knowledge of first ais-lifesaving.There are health officers working in our club.Furthermore to prevent the injuries and wounds, throughout the activities the educations of tool and instruments will be given.
Beforehand the project, crisis scenarios about the situations whether our group or our volunteers may face up, are going to be created and all the necessary steps will have been taken about the solutions and precaution.
