Resumo: The hosting organization is a private kindergarten. We are a non-profit organisation run by the parents of the children attending the kindergarten.
We offer experience in alternative pedagogy.The kindergarten’s educational bases are the concepts developed by Rebecca and Mauricio Wild and Maria Montessori. We respect our children as individuals. Our meaning of education is more to accompany the children and help if they need it. but not lecture them. The children meet the volunteer openly and just live cross-cultural understanding.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The volunteer will participate in the teachers and children’s activities during daycare hours. This may include sports, excursions, games, music, arts & crafts, etc. The volunteer is more than welcome to show his/ her culture in our daily lives, especially in the kindergarten. The volunteer will NOT have sole responsibility for the children instead always working within easy reach of a teacher or parent nearby!

With this project we want to offer aspects of solidarity and respect and the possibility of participation to young peaople. Close by in Vienna, the volnteer will also have the possibility to meet other volunteers.
The children of the Kindergruppe get to know our volunteers and thereby develop cross cultural understanding. Our aim as an organisation is to accompany our childrens’ development and show by example how to pay respect to all humans and all of nature, which is the european dimension.
