Resumo: The project aims to promote mobility and transnational volunteering as non-traditional form of emancipation and learning, aimed in particular at young people with fewer opportunities will be directly or indirectly involved, in order to obtain a better knowledge of the active role that they can play in the communities of origin, and more generally in society, for a transition to adulthood and the responsibilities that this entails, more harmonious and conscious.
The project will involve 6 volunteers from Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, Romania, Greece.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The project involves the Youth Center, Library and schools based there. The volunteer will be involved in the activities of the territory, in network with other organisations and institutions.

Mainly the volunteer will carry out local initiatives with young people like the matic workshops, outdoor games, excursions, exhibitions, activities connected with art and culture, supporting the work of the staff of the Municipality and local volunteers. Mostly the activities will take place at the youth center. Some activities will be carry out also in schools.

As local impact, thanks to the presence of international volunteers the local community can develop a particular sensitivity and interest towards European issues. In fact, the daily presence of European volunteers contributes to the realization of local activities, stimulating in the local youngsters new interests,open-mindednessand curiosity towards new cultures, and also a different evaluation of their own territory, fostering a more positive approach to foreign language learning and practicing. This also improve the awareness of being European citizens and motivate them to propose themselves as protagonists in their community. Volunteers needs to bring his/her own laptop.
All together, volunteers will develop some common projects (supported by the mentor), for example the VIDEO about the project, radio interviews, public language tandems, public events…
All volunteers have the responsibility to contribute to the visibility of the project and of the Erasmus+ programme
