Resumo: The host organization is a day care centre and also specialized accommodation for people suffering of physical or/and cerebral disability. They can suffer of different mix and level of handicap. Residents are adults who can be aged from 18 to 60 years old. The home can host around 40 residents and other support other people during daytime activities.
The aims of the organization are to provide residents specific and adapted living conditions (accommodation, frame, medical care...) and to propose activities for leisure and personal development.

There is a wide range of activities proposed:
- Sports: horse riding, archery, swimming…
- Familiarization activities: outgoings, thematic trips, celebrations, concerts…
- Leisure activities: pedagogical garden and farm, computer workshop, sensitive activities, painting workshop…
Activities proposed aims to help the residents to get their balance. Every kind of activities can be proposed to achieve it. Pedagogical outlines of the organization will encourage to improve relations with others and exchanges with people out of the organisation. This is confirmed by the individual and group outings, and also for all the activities that aims to socialize and enabling residents to live their citizenship.

The hosting organiztion is located a little town in a rural area in the North East part of France. The volunteers will have to appreciate to live in a quiet place and close to nature. Every year, two European volunteers are hosted and they live in house with another European volunteer.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
Volunteer should be patient, empathic and responsible. S/He should like to help others, be willing to work with disabled people and have a good capacity to adapt. Basic knowledge of French is very helpful. Volunteer should be willing to live in the rural environment and like to be in contact with nature.

Tarefas: The hosting organization is a day care center that provides specialized accommodation for adults suffering from physical or/and cerebral disability. The Centre is located in a town of 1200 inhabitants. Volunteer will assist in organizing or implementing leisure activities for the residents, for example, handicrafts, computer and cooking workshops, outings, games… S/He will also have the possibility to take part in activities in the educative farm (little farm with a horse, rabbits and production of vegetables) of the Centre.
