Resumo: Established in 2002, our Association is a non-profit non-governmental organization that focuses mainly on young people and youth leaders from Pomeranian region. We have different aims for our activities:
1) increasing the activism in social and civic life of children, youth and youth leaders (e.g. by organizing meetings with youth in their schools)
2) encouraging young people to develop their creativity and to build respect to the traditions (e.g. by running, since 2003, training regional center of ”Youth in Action” Program)
3) providing promotion of youth information - since 2005 we have been developing our regional European Youth Information Network called (at this moment it is the biggest Eurodesk Net in Europe - actually we have 32 points in Pomerania region). Moreover we also run European Commission information point. In both information points we held consultation for young people and for those who are looking information (eg. connected with European funds).
4) provide complex support to youth leaders and youth organizations by information, financial support and trainings.
Our organization also:
- helps unemployed people by running the Center of Social Integration in Osówek (on the south of our voivodeship).
- supports non-formal groups organizing different kind of activities for scouts movement - working next to our association.
- provide learning opportunities for elderly by running, from 2013, Social Activities for Senior).

Perfil: Our projects are generally open to young people who want to be a volunteer, aged between 18-30 and registered /willing to register on European Solidarity Corps portal also we want to invite volunteers with fewer opportunities (who face economic and geographical obstacles). We are looking for people who are dynamic, creative and sociable, willing to cooperate with the target groups of the beneficiaries of the project: seniors and youth. Participants have to be interested in the topic and in making proposed tasks, open for new experience and willing to work in intercultural team.

The volunteer should be:
- motivated to do voluntary service;
- willing to learn Polish or improve English for better communication;
- be able to learn how to work in an international environment;
- be sociable and flexible;
- willing to help in the implementation of activities planned in the Neigbourhood House and schools;
- took initiative to prepare own activities ;
- have ability to write short promotional texts and press articles or interested to learn how to do it;
- experience in working for the local community is welcome;
- we wants to run long-term volunteering project, so it is important for us, that the participant is aware of his/her decision and that it is well thought choice.
We are open for all, but we believe that prepared volunteers profile will indicate the volunteers who will receive more benefits from participating in our project. Volunteers will be selected according to their motivation to work with us and their interest to the proposed project’s topic.

Tarefas: The main activities within the project "Youth for intergenerational solidarity” will take place in Gdańsk and other cities of Tricity.
Stowarzyszenie Morena is working actively for local community by running Neighborhood House Jaśkowa 7 (Dom Sąsiedzki) and a bit wider – by collaboration with schools in Tricity. We make activities for local community with the teachers, trainers and with help of our local and international volunteers.
Volunteers will be involved to the topics – culture, community development, equality and nondiscrimination, but the most important will be the intergenerational solidarity contest. Main tasks will be assistance to supervisor and work with coordinator of the Neighborhood house in holding activities for local community (especially for seniors and youth.

Volunteers tasks will be:
- support the activities which organization implement in the Neighborhood house for the local
Community and help the coordinator in managing of the Neighborhood house;
- work with the supervisor for design marketing materials for promotion of the Neighborhood house
activities;
- update the social media (web-page and FB pages), by writing articles about his/her volunteering
experience, some things he/she think are interested and connected with the project;
- with help of supervisor prepare own activity for local community (language exchange club, gymnastic, cooking club, cultural club or other club depending of interests and skills of volunteer);
- search and re-write / post news about youth and seniors policy and opportunities in EU;
- design, plan, and run with help of supervisor presentations, workshops and debates at schools about: society, youth/senior policy, demography, EU opportunities, solidarity, active participation, etc.
- do presentation about own country (culture, history, geography information) and interesting
cultural differences in the Neighbourhood house Jaśkowa 7 and sometimes in partner Neighbourhood houses, schools, universities and other associations, Morena’s partners;
- office work;
- helping in the annual events organized by the Municipality and Stowarzyszenie Morena (European Day, Neighborhood Day, Fair - Czas na Modzież etc).
