Resumo: The hosting organization is a historical center for shipbuilding. On the yard, as much as possible, we work according to the authentic and traditional construction methods from the 17th century, as well as research shipbuilding techniques specific for that time. The building of historical ships attracted much attention of visitors from the beginning, so the yard became a tourist attraction. In addition, the orgaization has became a learning and working experience project for young people and for re-integration of the people. Stichting is a private, non-profit foundation which can be characterized as a combination of tourist business, centre for business training, centre for knowledge and volunteer organization.

Perfil: Age: 18-30
- Technical, energetic, open minded, sociable, creative;
- enthusiastic of manuel work (indoor and outdoor);
- interested about traditional ships
- good english comunication

Tarefas: The task of the volunteers are to do maintenance work at the Batavia or work on another shiprelated project, this involves doing heavy work and working with wood and iron.
