Resumo: The organization develops and creates circus pedagogical offers, participation projects, events.
The variety of circus offers for children and youth beside the innovative playground concept, trend sports and youth culture is a big impact for the park and the areal of the cultural and industrial industries which is situated next to the circus and its terrain.
On the areal of the orgnization innovative possibilities are offered. Children and youth with our without special needs as well as educated athletes, musicians or artists are invited to try themselves out within the topics sports, arts or culture.

Big and small big tops, different site caravans and small frame houses are part of the circus areal. An area for parkour, dirtbiketrails and a beach volley court, a fireplace, patches, a clay oven, a playing field – all these are parts of the terrain. The infrastructure offers many possibilities for projects and events for various age bands.
Children and youth can bring in their own ideas, follow their interests and have the possibility to co-determine what happens in the park. The concept is changeable and can be adapted to the current necessities. The ideas and the knowledge of the children and youth is an essential part of the planning for the future, they are involved in all steps.

The areal of the organization will be developed and expanded on base of the existing offers and the participatory concept.
A big and important part of the work of the organization is the circus. It’s a circus created by children and youth. Within the summer the circus pedagocial offers take place in the big tops outside, within wintertime it takes place in different halls inside. Fixed training groups for children, youth and young grown-ups are beside of pending offers for everybody, workshops, projects with schools and social organizations, holiday programs, performances, festivals and conventions. At the organization a team of full-time workers as well as many voluntary and self-employed trainers are contributing. The circus is member of the national association for circus pedagogics and so part of a national network of circus peddagocial organizations.

A European Volunteer has the possibility to support all fields of activity of the organization. Depending from his/her own interest and knowledge in circus he/she can ontribute and bring in own ideas.

Perfil: • Age: 18-30
• Interest in pedagogical work, especially circus pedagogics
• Experiences in circus disciplines theatre or any other type of arts/artistics or circus pedagogics or any other pedagogical art (theatre, …)
• Interest and some experiences in working with children and youngsters
• Good knowledge of English, basic skills in German would be helpful but aren’t obligatory
• You have an accredited sending organization (PIC number, accreditation number, name and contacts on sending organization)

Tarefas: The organization develops and creates circus pedagogical offers, participation projects, events as well as actions on the big areal in the Otto-Dullenkopf-Park which is situated at the southeastern part of the city Karlsruhe. On the areal of the organization innovative possibilities are offered. Children and youngsters with or without special needs as well as educated athletes, musicians or artists are invited to try themselves out within the topics sports, arts or culture.
