Resumo: The hosting organization is a daycare center for young people and families in a social prevention program, which provides psychosocial support to children, adolescents, young people and their parents, who face different problems in their life and such need professional support and help. The program is realizes by two full-time professional staff and around 20 volunteer, who are involved in the activites on the basis of their own desires, wishes, knowledge and needs.

The target population is children, adolescents and young people between 10 and 20 years of age.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The Project will raise the quality of youth work and create opportunities for joint projects and further successful work, not only at the local but also regional level.
The aim of everyone involved in the project´s youth organizations is to gain new skills and experiences as well as to increase levels of tolerance, mutual acceptance, understanding and respect. volunteers will improve academic success, as well as their employability and career prospects; they will develop their self confidence and independence ad gain a sense of entrepreneurship; they will strengthen intercultural awareness, internaliza the values of the EU and increase the motivation continuing both formal and informal education.

The volunteer will be well and fairly included in the working team and as such they will have an opportunity to show and improve their own abilities, develop their sense of initiative, gain new skills and gain new knowledge through organizing and realizing different activities (workshops, courses, individual support, sports, games, plays, presentations, lectures). At the same time, they will become familiar with the theory of preventing work with youngsters and within the social care system in Slovenia. Volunteers will also have an opportunity to realize projects within other local partner organizations in order to strengthen their involvement in the local society.
