Resumo: Established in 2002, our Association is a non-profit non-governmental organization that focuses mainly on young people and youth leaders from Pomeranian region. We have different aims for our activities:
1) increasing the activism in social and civic life of children, youth and youth leaders (e.g. by organizing meetings with youth in their schools)
2) encouraging young people to develop their creativity and to build respect to the traditions (e.g. by running, since 2003, training regional center of ”Youth in Action” Program)
3) providing promotion of youth information - since 2005 we have been developing our regional European Youth Information Network called (at this moment it is the biggest Eurodesk Net in Europe - actually we have 32 points in Pomerania region). Moreover we also run European Commission information point. In both information points we held consultation for young people and for those who are looking information (eg. connected with European funds).
4) provide complex support to youth leaders and youth organizations by information, financial support and trainings.
Our organization also:
- helps unemployed people by running the Center of Social Integration in Osówek (on the south of our voivodeship).
- supports non-formal groups organizing different kind of activities for scouts movement - working next to our association.
- provide learning opportunities for elderly by running, from 2013, Social Activities for Senior).

Perfil: -- experience in working for the local community is welcome;
-- willingness to build / infect an active attitude among young people;
-- openness and communicativeness;
-- the ability to search for information;
-- experience in work with social media is welcome.

Tarefas: 1. Assistance in creating scenarios of workshops in civic education, examples of topics:
a) How to prepare and write a project - where to start, where to look for help, how to develop a proposal
b) How to work effectively in a team
c) Self-presentation etc.
2. Co-conducting classes on civic activity in Gdańsk secondary schools.
3. Promoting civic participation of young people in social media based on examples from Europe.
4. Proposing / creating new tools for including young people in the discussion about the local community.
5. Finding new possibilities and opportunities of training, funding youth councilors.
6. Desk research for youth councils abroad, in particular within the Baltic Sea region.
7. Help the coordinator to prepare applications for external funds (Erasmus + application, regional and
national funds).
8. Help in organizing the Congress of Youth Councils – regional biggest meeting of youth councilors.
9. Cooperation with representatives of the Youth Council of the City and the Youth Council of the Pomorskie Voivodeship
10. Meetings with volunteers of Interreg Volunteer Initiative, who work at the Secretariat of Euroregion
Baltic.
11. National meetings with young activists, umbrella organizations.
