Resumo: The host organization is a service institution in the area of German language training and qualification with 20 years of experience in providing not only language but also cultural and historical knowledge as well as intercultural competence to several hundred people each year from all over the world.

We specialize in implementing or supporting Study-Abroad Programs for foreign universities and colleges. Currently, we are working continuously with 11 universities and colleges from the United States and with 7 universities in Japan. In addition, we offer international summer courses in the field of German language for every level and teacher-training programs for teachers of German as a second language. Study-Abroad Programs are custom made on the basis of a partner’s interest and can consist of a variety of components, such as German language and culture courses for every level of language proficiency, lectures and courses on every topic, travel arrangements for excursions, day trips as well as several-day-trips, including guided tours and so on. The volunteers support the staff of the organization with arranging free time activities and act as contact person for our international guests in order to help young people to connect with the local youth.

Perfil: The person should be interested in other cultures and open minded.
Basic German language knowledge
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: we are looking for one volunteer (we already have found the other one) who wants to spend a lot of time with our international (especially American and Japanese) students here in Wittenberg and who is interested in different cultures. He or she also supports our team in the office planning little workshops, international evenings and free time activities.
