Resumo: Truc sphérique, NGO founded on September 30 1998 is an opened platform linking contemporary with social development. We are committed to the contemporary arts and culture that are more than an extension or leisure time activity – they are the means of creativity development, personal growth and discovering new forms of communication. We bring the culture from the edge to the centre of interest and, for us, it is more determining for creating new visions than any political or economical reasons are. All activities of the organization are run by young people (age from 23-32 years).

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: 1) Photo documentation – the main activity of the volunteer will be complete photographic documentation of all the events organized within the programme of our association and everyday life of our venues (Stanica, Nová synagóga and Plusminusnula gallery), processing the photos and uploading on our Flickr archives. The volunteer will take photos of the concerts, theatre/dance shows, readings, discussions, festivals, parties, exhibition openings, children workshops and all other events).
She will be introduced into photo documentation activity by former EVS coordinator
and former Stanica photographer.
2) Event assistance: the volunteer will be responsible for event administration (selling and checking tickets, welcoming the audience, communicating with the artists, preparation of the venue, poster distribution, etc).
3) Other activities depends on the individual agreement between the staff and the volunteer, for example workshop assistance: She might be participating in preparation, organization and evaluation of the children educational workshops focused on art (painting, animating, modeling, photography, etc) in cooperation with our workshop lecturers.

Volunteer will be involved also in many different everyday activities like helping with installations in our gallery, working in the bar (not obligatory, but welcome; under supervision), taking care of our garden/park, occasionally helping with small construction works in Stanica….

Horário: Working hours and free time depends on special needs of volunteer but also on activities of the Stanica as it changes on the weekly base. It is similar with holidays. In organization we are making holiday schedule during all year. Volunteer will work the most 35 hours per week and will have 2 free days during the week and 2 free days extra per month. Other free days will be planed with colleagues on regular meetings.
