Resumo: The host organization is a not-for-profit organisation created in 1993. The host organization is a youth information centre which is a part of a network of 1500 info spot throughout France.
The host organization is running by a team of 6 professionals which involves a general manager, an account and administration assistant, an international mobility project officer, 2 project officers and a numeric project leader.
Its main goals is inform youngsters between 16 and 35 and caters to the needs of young people on subjects such as education, vocational training, jobs, employment, cultural offering or sporting events. But also on issues like housing and health or even individual rights or international mobility (jobs, voluntary participation, education and work or training placement).
For that it has a documentation section with a free access to Internet where the welcoming is free, anonymous and adapted to the demand.

Besides, the host organization has opened a website of their own, which provides young people with a tremendous quantity of daily updated practical and useful information.
Apart from that, the organization yearly publishes a guide books and is also involved into the organisation of several events such as :
- The summer jobs days
- internationak events : the Youth International days (forum dedicated to international mobility), the international coffee which allow youngster to leet and speak with young people who went abroad.

Perfil: We are looking for 2 volunteers from European Union countries, from 18' up to 30'.
Basic skills in French are requested. Indeed, the pupils have a very bad level in English so it's important to be able to communicate with them.
The volunteer must have the willingness to work with young people and to prepare activities with/for them.

Tarefas: The EVS volunteer will be assigned in two different services, The information and documentation center (IDC) and The School life office in order to improve the pupil services and supervising.
Their work plan will be distributed between both sites:
1. The IDC
In close relation with the 2 librarians, the EVS volunteers will:
- welcome the pupils and provide responses to their different requirements Help in the electronic sorting, archiving and lending of books
- Organize the display and check the availability of school and cultural documents to the pupils Participate in cultural events

2. The School life office
The volunteers will participate in:
- The pupil reception Cultural and sport activities (display implementations, foot and music clubs, etc.)
- Workshops to raise awareness regarding the culture and behavior of young people
- The development of specific spaces devoted to the culture and languages of EVS
- The animation of the pupil home
