Resumo: The host organization is a non-governmental youth organization, which uses non-formal education methods to organizing various events – trainings, seminars, camps, informative campaigns and other events for young people (13-25 years old) on topics that are important for them – career, business, educational possibilities, health and healthy lifestyle, participation, politics, mass media etc.

The organization was created in 2003 and it has since implemented more than 20 projects of various scale, ranging from small youth initiative projects to long term cross border projects with multiple partners.
The organization pays specific attention to develop youth leadership skills thus promoting youth creativity, self-initiative, organizing ability, argumentation and public performance experience. We also provide space for young and inspired activist for their projects and idea implementation.

Organization participates in youth interest advocacy at local level being represented in the organization´s Committee and other committees and working groups and also at national level being a member of “The National Youth Council of Latvia” that works on national and EU youth policy issues.

The aim of this project is to involve local youngsters, youngsters in NEET situation and international youngsters (EVS volunteers) and create together a 3 day Youth Festival.
Youth Festival will be a new tradition in our small town, with 2 main music and performance stages, comedy and stand up stage, talk space, small markets, free space for NGO's and volunteers to create activities,workshops and free entertainment options.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: - To inform local youngsters and show the possibilities that Erasmus+ program can give by organizing events before the Festival (for example cultural evening), where they can share their culture, their ideas, talents.
- Team building activities between Ventspils youngsters and the volunteers;
- Practical help to organize all the logistics of the festival, help in building stages and free creative spaces;
- Tog heather with local youngsters preparing and creating activities that can happen during the festival or free concert hours;
- If volunteer has some talent that can be shared at the festival it would be great;
- The volunteer will be able to share one ideas of what can happen in the festival or will have opportunity to develop one small project inside the main project;
