Resumo: Our aim is to offer quality youth work service in our region and through that grow a greater sense of community.
We are operating with the open youth work method, with there being different activities happening in the center weekly that everybody can take part in (i.e cooking club, games nights etc.). There are also many activities taking place outside our center (helping out other NGOs, like animal shelters and the Estonian Food Bank). Our organisation has before received volunteer from different countries but the current team has never had a volunteer of their own. One youth worker has before worked with different volunteers in a youth center. Also, the team has coolaborated with a volunteer in another youth center since september 2017.

The target group of our work are youth aged 7 to 26 with the younger ones taking mostly part in different creative crafting activities and older ones (13/14 year olds and up) are organizing their own events and writing projects. Most of our visitors are aged between 12-16 with the youth center offering a variety of activities. For example, there is a working art class, a theatre class and currently are in the process of obtaining dj equipment and offering dj-ing classes.
One of our main priorities is to support youth to realize their ideas and wishes.
During the summer, different youth camps are held. The center also works with Tugila programme, offering services for NEET-youth.
The Youth center shares the building with a special needs support home Meiela and the library, with a seperate entrance and four rooms for open youth work and three offices. In the four rooms there are an arts and crafts room, a games room (with xbox and board games), a conference room and a room with pool table, table tennis and foosball table, being used also as an auditorium for bigger events.
