Resumo: BONAGENT, Amigos de las Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual is based in the City of Valencia, more specifically in the neighborhood of La Creu del Grau in the south of the City.
La Creu del Grau is a neighborhood of the city of Valencia (Spain) belonging to the district Camins al Grau. It is located in the southwest of the city and is bordered to the north by Ayora, to the east by El Grao, to the south by Penya-Roja and to the west by Cami Fondo. It has a population of 15,343 inhabitants.

BONA GENT, Amigos de las Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual is a non-governmental and non-profit Institution, Public Utility declared by the Cabinet of Ministry on September 26, 1980, whose mission is to improve the quality of life of people with Intellectual Disability and their families.

BONAGENT provides services to assist youth and adults with Intellectual Disabilities in their free time, social life, continuing education, training and employment, sheltered housing, etc... in order to improve their quality of life, promote personal autonomy and opportunities for socialization.
It serves more than 600 people with intellectual disabilities over 18 years old and their families through various services and support programs, and its scope Valencia and its metropolitan area. It has a multidisciplinary team of 22 professionals and a team of 122 volunteers who collaborate in solidarity with the mission of the institution.

Tarefas: [1] Day Activity: In it, volunteers will perform support functions with the competent professional in making the workshop, in addition to accompanying the Disabled, supervision and assistance in the work realized by these.
[2] Training for Adults: In it, volunteers will perform support functions in the schooling of the Disabled (add, read, write, etc...)
[3] Leisure and Free Time Clubs: In it, volunteers will help during recreational activities and small outputs in Valencia.
[4] Camps and Weekend outings: In it, volunteers will provide their support in the attention and care of people with intellectual disabilities in leisure stays in Youth Hostels, as well as in the development of leisure activities scheduled during these stays.
[5] Leisure School: In it, volunteers will help the professional in the care and development of leisure activities scheduled throughout the day during holiday periods.
[6] Sheltered Housing: In it, volunteers will support in all actions to improve the autonomy at home and/or immediate surroundings (families).
[7] Administrative tasks: related with the development of activities of the association (order of files, file, documents scanning, etc...). These measures shall be complementary to the tasks referred above and always where activity periods with people with intellectual disabilities are lower.

Horário: The weekly schedule will not exceed 35 hours per week [including Spanish lessons].
The EVS weekly schedule use to be from Tuesday to Saturday. Timetable from Tuesday to Friday is from 09h30 to 13h30 and afternoons from 17h00 to 19h30 and Saturday from 10h00 to 20h00 (depending on the activity planned).
When for reasons of timely necessity it is necessary to change the schedule of your tasks (outings and weekend excursions), you will be notified one week in advance, the days and times changed.
If you has to go to any activity outside your EVS schedule time or remain paying attention on outings several days together with users and professionals, you will be compensated with days-off.
