Resumo: The hosting organization is an apolitical organization created in 1987 whose purpose is to inform the local citizens about actions of the European Union and to spread the European cultures. This organization is supported by several partners such as the European Commission, the Regional Council, the City Council, etc. The hosting organization has been accredited Europe Direct Information Centre since 2007 and also accredited Youth and non formal education since 2012. We take action at several levels thanks to the organization of European Coffees, debates, screenings, and various events such as the celebration of European Day and also several exhibitions on European topics. The people can come to visit our information and documentation during our opening hours and discover our educational tools available to lend or rent.

Moreover, we go to schools and organizations in order to talk or liven up educational games about European topics first chosen. Thus, we often go to high schools in order to introduce the European mobility programs and to liven up presentations and activities (giant puzzles, quizzs with questions about European History and cultures, etc.) We also organize English writing cv and motivation letter workshops.

Perfil: Age:18-30

Tarefas: - Organise little events to discover the volunteer’s country of origin
- Participate in the preparation and in the organization of the European day, the 9th of May
- Prepare and lead activities directed towards youth and/or children
- Help in animating our social networks with news and articles
- Propose some activities linked to personal interests and skills
- Propose activities with the rest of volunteers of the region
- Get in touch with the local portuguese community and help in building partnership between organisations.
- Help and inform the people who comes to our office
- Help in sending young French in EVS
- Advocate towards European community citizens about EU elections
- Participate in the daily life of the organisation
