Perfil: Volunteers are selected through the Center "Initiative" and Sfera as its "contact point for EVS" selection process for participation in the projects. The selection process involves a written CV, motivation letter and possibly an interview. Center "Initiative" selects volunteers due to the following criteria:

- motivation to work with youth and children;
- readiness to learn Russian and to communicate in Russian; Knowledge of Russian is advisable.
- readiness to promote their own culture;
- organizing skills; creativity and artistic skills ( drawing, singing, dancing) are welcome.
Sfera and Centre Initiative are experienced in hosting EVS volunteers and always divide staff work and work of volunteers.

EVS volunteers always realize only project activities, and if they still have a motivation to do more they have a possibility to lead their own mini-project, like workshops for orphans or individual caring on child, so this is additional service for local children or youth. The most important criteria is the strong motivation to do voluntary service and learn a lot from the project! The information about vacant place Sfera will situate on www.youthnetworks.eu web-site, the web-site of Sfera, through subscribing to partner organizations (more than 150 organizations all around Europe). With some partners SFERA has strong cooperation since long time ago. As the Centre Initiative will not directly communicate with Sending Organization, type of the Sending Organization could be any. We would
prefer to have volunteer, strongly supported not only by us and Sfera, but also by Sending Organization.

Tarefas: The EVS projects in our organisation will give the experience of international work for the volunteers, as well as practice in communication with people from different background. During the projects the volunteers will practice public presentation skills, project management, individual consulting, and work in a team. Besides the volunteers will improve their linguistic skills. The volunteer would be an additional person who could add his/her ideas to create an intercultural and multilingual dimension for the hosting organisation. The daily work with youth offers a wide variety of exchange possibilities (music and songs, dance, storytelling & of course, literature …). Creating an open mind and an interest in discovering other languages and countries is achieved so in a very natural way based on a daily contact and exchange - it becomes a sort of natural effect of becoming familiar with each other.

The average day schedule for the volunteer is as follows:

10.00-12.00 - preparing the activities.
12.00-13.00 - lunch
13.00 - 17.00 - carrying the activities.

The average month schedule for the volunteer is as follows:

- 2 events on the project "Language Club" for young and adult people (choosing the main theme, making up the scenario, looking for interesting materials, preparing some decoration). We're planning to organize the following events: the day of national games, the mind game for children, the international camp for children, the charity dancing party.
- 8 language lessons per month/ two times per week (preparing and carrying).
- 8 intercultural events for schoolchildren/ two times per week (choosing the main theme, making up the scenario, looking for interesting materials, preparing some decoration),
- 1 event on the project "English Discussion Club" (choosing topics, leading the discussions)/
