Resumo: our staff offers support and advice to our target group (young adults from age of 16) it could be anything from starting a project, events, book a room to have a meeting, or to just use the facilities, or maybe use our media room or music studio. The volunteers will take part of our exciting creative culture, where the content varies from week to week, depending on the activities that take place. Concerts, exhibitions, pop-up stores, theatre, LAN and workshops are just a few examples of what you can create at the organization.

The has a multimedia studio which includes digital music production studio, cinema, portable photo/movie studio with and editing room. The organization has two floors, 1st floor is the entrance, it has two large offices, an editing room, three bookable rooms, a cafeteria and a stage with a sound and light system. 2nd floor has an office and bookable rooms, a music studio, a cinema and a large flat surface for dancing, lectures, events, etc. The room is equipped with sound, projection and lighting. Free of charge to use for young adults from age of 16. Everyone has the opportunity to present their own ideas; projects/events at Brygghuset, with support from our staff.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: 1. During the project the volunteers share the EVS experience by using a blog, instagram and a facebook page.
2. Inspire and coach visitors at the centre to create and implement their own ideas and projects. Create and take part in the ongoing daily activities and tasks in the youth centre and meeting place. Support youth workers and staff in daily tasks and routines. Support staff with citizen service, café duties etc. for visitors at the community centre.
3. Inform others about EVS and inspire youth in Borås to participate in Erasmus+ programme and share their own experience of coming to a new country in creative ways. To inform and hold presentations to staff, stakeholders, youth centres and schools.
4. Initiate and run different group activities, creative workshops, cultural events or sport activities within the framework according to the volunteer’s interests and abilities.
5. Introducing the country and culture(s) of the volunteer by organising a cultural event in the activity house in order to address prejudice notions of the different countries.
6. Initiate and run an individual project according to the volunteer’s interests and abilities within the activity house framework. Writes and completes an individual “Action plan” for the project period.
7. Work with democracy and influence of the visitors by learning about the organisation, attend workshops about influence, gender- and norm criticism with the staff and participate in district bound democracy issues. Learn about the Convention of the Rights of the Child, and try to implement this into the work.
8. Participate in different events to promote the Erasmus+ programme and the opportunities that EVS offers.
9. Is active and committed to the personal development and training opportunities offered through the project, both locally and through the National Agency and thus work on the Youth pass throughout the project.
10. Prepares and carries out with the help of the Sending, Host and Coordinating organisation useful follow-up activities in the end of the Activity, aiming to promote and disseminate the results of the project. For example documenting the EVS-period with photo and film.
11. Respect and work on the project and understands that he/she is a representative of both the sending as well as the coordinating/hosting organisation and supports the organisation’s procedures and this Internal partnership agreement.

Horário: EVS activity is full-time service, including training, language course, supervision and staff meetings, which are considered as part of the educational project. In case of being absent from work due to illness, the volunteer has to inform the mentor the same day. The volunteer works about 32-35 hours each week, both daytime and evenings. During special events the volunteer might be asked to work more evenings or/and weekends and have additional days off.
