Resumo: We are small, with 2 classes only, but the more we are dedicated and focused on kids development. We have 40 kids who are from the age 1.5-3 years. There are 10 people working daily with kids – 2 teachers, 2 assistant teachers, 2 support teachers, economy director, chef and music teacher.

The organization turns a lot of attention to kid's health and it's promotion. In 2009, we joined the network of health promotion kindergartens. We pay extra attention to the food; we are offering to kids and make sure that it healthy. We got a second place on the competition "Kindergarten with the best catering" in 2009. We have a long history and traditions that we celebrate together with kids, parents and employees. Parents are actively included in the creation of nursery's growth envi-ronment. We focus on aesthetic appearance and creation of a positive environment of the nursery. The whole space (inside and outside) of the nursery is repaired and made safe for kids.

The mission of the nursery:
The organization is a pre-school education child care institution that is a partner for home and sup-ports kid's growth and development while basing on closeness to nature, health promotion, tradi-tions and child-based upbringing.

Perfil: The profile of the volunteers is not strongly limited and is open for all the people who would like to work with small kids. In that reason, the main requirement is the readiness to work with young kids, starting with the age of 1.5 years. You have to be ready to help kids with everyday activities, play with them, develop activities and help teachers with everyday activities and responsibilities. The age limit for the volunteer is 18-30 years.

Tarefas: The main responsibilities of the volunteer will be helping teachers and assistant teachers, help kids with everyday activities and play with kids. Since all the days are planned and kids are very small, then teachers need quite a lot help. The volunteer can also help to develop activities, create games and think out ways how to develop kids. Depending on the skills and previous experiences of the volunteer, he/she is welcomed to create activities or events.

We are very open to volunteer’s individual projects and ideas that would support kids learning pro-cess. Although all days are well planned according to a specific plan, there's always space for inno-vative and good ideas that would help kids to develop and learn. He/she is also very welcomed to develop events or activities to where kids and parents will be included.
