Resumo: The host orgaization is a non-profit organization, which relies upon donations of individuals and companies. The organization is an alternative to foster families, which shall ensure children with permanent families and homes. In the organization can live in the same family with their biological siblings while still keeping contact with their biological parents. Our vision establishes that very child belongs to a family and grows with love, respect and security. Our mission is to build families for children in need and help them shape their own futures. In addition to the work of SOS parents and social workers, the contributions of educators and volunteers help introduce children to various activities to help them find hobbies and interests besides the daily routine of obtaining formal education.

Perfil: We are looking for a person who is not only fun-loving but has the intrinsic motivation to form social bonds and care about the people he/she is really working for, the children. It is important that the volunteer feels like his/her work is less of an obligation and more of a motivated effort to help the children develop and self-actualize.
It is preferable that the volunteer is used to an active lifestyle and feels comfortable in an outdoor setting and sports. It is necessary to have a good verbal command in English since the volunteer will be encouraging the children to speak in this language.
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: First of all it is important to mention there will be 2 different phases of work: the summertime school holiday (3 months from June to August in Estonia) and the rest of the time, when the children attend school (or kindergar-ten). During the summer holidays, the children obviously have much more free time. They attend summer camps and go on family vacations, but there are plenty of children in the village at all times to organize activities for. We have our own football pitch right next to the village, which is great for sports activities in the summer. The working time of the volunteer in the summer is very flexible, mostly depending on when the children are free to join in on the activities. We also encourage the volunteer to organize trainings of some disciplines with professional instructors, so the experience is a learning one for both the children and the volunteer.

As the children attend school or kindergarten during the other time of year, their availability for leisure activities will be limited compared to summertime. Most of them also attend hobby classes and need to do homework, so that has to be taken into account. The children have significantly more free time during the weekends, so it is often a good idea to organize something for them for that time. However, it is ultimately up to the volunteer whether he/she would sometimes like to work on the weekends or rather the weekdays.

Typical tasks of the volunteer are as follows:
- Organizing and carrying out leisure time activities for children (50%)
- Carry out creative English language classes (15%)
- Come up with and realize a bigger special project (event/trip) with the help of the tutor (15%)
- Helping the family support workers organize special events, participate in them while also helping and look-ing after kids (10%)
- Plan and implement a hobby class / regular activity based on his/her own competences (10%)
