Resumo: T.E.SO.R.I Association was founded in December 2008, from a group of young people of the Agricultural High School " G. Penna" in Asti, who made some volunteer experience in Casa Bosticco, an apartment group for people with mental health, managed by the Association “L’Albero della Vita” (“The Tree of Life”) in San Damiano d'Asti. Casa Bosticco is a "therapeutic farm," that’s why the agriculture knowledge of those youngster was important in various activities: for instance, green spaces maintenance, garden and farm animals management and biomass fuel supply. Through the various external works carried out from the guests and workers of Casa Bosticco, the young volunteers could learn the value of the rehabilitation through the work in contact with nature and environmental sustainability. Casa Bosticco is a zero impact home, is equipped with: solar thermal and photovoltaic panels, biomass warming-plant for heating, self-produces foods and uses filtered drinking water for the kitchen. Another significant event for this group of young people were some volunteering stages abroad, that have been made through the Institute "G. Penna" at "L’Arche", an international organization of residential houses that hosts and works with persons with disabilities.

Starting from these two main experiences the young people wanted to prosecute in this volunteer activities and enhance learned skills in voluntary work, using their resources for agri-environmental service in a therapeutic and rehabilitating way.
Since the formal constitution of TESORI Association , many volunteers worked at Casa Bosticco, and some have independently repeated the European experience at “L’Arche”.

The main aims of TESORI are:
- Educate young to solidarity and sobriety
- Grant the centrality to the weak persons through the activation of associative, employment, work, and residential groups in agricultural contexts with low environmental impact
- Educating young people to have respect for the environment through example of environmental sustainability and restoring local culture.
To achieve these objectives, the Association organizes the following activities:
- Designing projects for training young people in solidarity and environmental respect, by suggesting them also in the Educational Plan of the schools (ex. non-formal educational stages to “L’Arche”);
- Stages in communities for social reintegration (Casa Bosticco and others);
- Funds raising to develop environmental sustainability (electric and thermal plants working on renewable resources) in order to improve facilities in the agricultural context for vulnerable people.
Approximately ten volunteers, mainly young people, represent the structure of TESORI; some of them belong to the board of directors and some of them do volunteer occasionally. Four of these volunteers are involved in the EVS project with ongoing functions of mentoring, coaching and project management.

Our association has been accredited to host EVS volunteers in 2010; the EVS project’s has precious things to offer to the young people: acceptance, relationships, the self-knowing, participation in community life (everyone with their own talent), accepting the others with their limits, revision of life, building meaningful relationships with the community, being open-minded towards diversity and towards people in difficulty, cultural exchange, the competence to live together in a group and to accept its rules.

The tools are social farming, the daily sustainability practices, the richness of relationships; the method is that of "learning by doing" through guided experiences of life, a non-formal educational method in which the action and reflection alternate in a process of strengthening of personal skills, the discovery of self and reality.
The idea behind the structure is also to support sustainability both environmentally and social implemented projects, with the choice of measures that, in a time of general crisis and particularly of a crisis of welfare, are more important than ever to ensure the continuity of the offered services.

Perfil: - preferably at least 20 years, which calls for:
- Be aware of the issues of the project;
- Be well disposed towards manual labor, particularly agriculture and handling of animals;
- Want to work in a multicultural context
- Foster respect the faith of others;
- driving license;
- Desire to study the Italian language;
- Be proactive and resourceful, bring ideas to increase the sharing of intercultural experiences and European;
- Put aside their own addictions such as internet, alcohol and smoking.

Tarefas: The project takes place in a rural setting, at some community for discomfort organized as social farms: Casa Bosticco (mental health+refugees) in San Damiano d'Asti, Casa Martino (women and children+refugees) in Asti, Casa Rina e Dino (men refugees) in Guarene. The valence of therapeutic-rehabilitative and horticulture 'breeding of small animals is a cornerstone of the community project, in which everyone is involved. A third element that distinguishes the project is the adoption of sustainable lifestyles (self-generation of energy from renewable sources, the food self and the ability to recycle and repair). In addition all 3 houses are increasingly characterized by a multicultural context, where different histories and different nationalities come together and try to live with.

the project will be divided into two phases. In the first (3 months), the volunteers will be to Casa Bosticco, in the second (another 3 months) will move to Casa Martino. Some days for week, in Casa Rina e Dino
