Resumo: The Youth department, offers different services and programs in the field of youth and education, cooperation, environment and European citizenship in order to support the young in their process of emancipation. The presence of volunteers is an important experience that gives added value to the youth department and its services for its intercultural character, its European dimension and its interaction with youth and staff of the organization itself.The objective of the Youth department is to enhance the participation and European citizenship, tolerance and civic solidarity. Both in the field of Youth Policy and European awareness, youth activities while promoting active citizenship and the importance of a more united Europe, from the interaction mentioned develop.European volunteers collaborate with the development of the activities planned but never replace a worker.

Perfil: 20-30 years
with some experience in social education
Dynamic and good team worker

Tarefas: The activities are related with young people and cultural animation and the tasks are supporting the monitor in Summer with the different events in “ELX CONVIU” with youngsters aged between 12-16 years old. We prepare activities in free time, health, excursions, leisure... The projects is in a diversity community and multicultural atmosphere
- Common activities: the practices all the participants of the school oriented to the promotion of health
- Optional activities: activities of a playful nature among young people choose according to their preferences.
- Open activities: children who are interested in planning and learning in order to involve students in summer school have addressed the whole community.


Methodology
It is an openly participatory process from a planning, execution and evaluation and this immersion within the community process of the neighborhoods. it is intended to involve throughout the development the main agents of the community: professionals, social entities, neighbors, families and young people.
The activities that have been carried out are developed for the different agents of the community that intervene as collaborators / workshops that offer their experience and time in favor of young people becoming educating agents within the same community.
The expected result is a cohesive and participatory community capable of responding to the needs of the neighborhoods that are part of the existing resources.
