Resumo: The host organization is an association that welcomes light mentally disabled adults.
Through our various activities and participation in various events, we have a great wealth of social contact. We are pleased that the volunteer EVS can benefit from and contribute.
The EVS volunteer takes part in the life of our home. It is also identified by our residents and is entirely part of our development. We see the EVS as a chance to host a young, dynamic and willing to pursue our social purpose. The hosting of European volunteers practiced since 2003 felt quite beneficial by the animation team and can provide an overview of management and animation methods for the residents to the volunteers.

Perfil: - If possible basic knowledge of French
- The interest of (the) volunteer for a social purpose mission, centered on the disabled people
- Ability to live in a rural region. This profile is assessed jointly by the coordinating and host Org -based on the application file and on a telephone interview with the candidates (coordinating Org in charge).
Age: 17-30

Tarefas: The objective is to accomodate mental handicapped people within an educational framework structuring and opening out by taking account of the individual problems of life of the person, in partnership with the family and the whole of the social workers. We also want to allow to the person an optimum development with all the levels: autonomy, emotional, physical, psychological .The project aims primarily:
- to take part in a teaching project through activities of animation and daily contacts,
- to live a human experiment within the framework of an institution integrating the social, psychological and medical aspects of the assumption of responsibility of mental handicapped people,
- to be able to bring their own contribution to the project in particular in the field of animation The tasks of the volunteers are: - activities of animation (representing more than 60% of the time of the volunteers) such as: parlour games, painting, gardening, small animal breeding, craft,...
