Resumo: Social Cooperative was born in 1984 as an initiative of a group of young members in order to act beside the weakest population groups.
The cooperative main scope is to work for the local context.
At present it has about 90 members and one million euro of total turnover. In the years the Cooperative has realised that there can't be any socio-economic improvement without a cultural growth. Core services of the co-operative are:
• Home care and assistance to disabled;
• School assistance for handicapped students;
• Old age home help and managing and Day care centre;
• Community social centres for youth;
• Residential centre for disabled
• Transport for disabled;
• Other social activities for elderly and youth.
Great importance is given to the diffusion of culture through performance arts, theatre, creative reading and workshops.
The organization works enhancing human resources both the workers and the assisted people.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Support in the implementation of social activities for vulnerable groups, especially the elders and the youth, living in the area affected by the earthquake occurred in the Abruzzo region. The activities – such as back-office tasks, recreational activities, educational support for young people and organization of performance arts and theatre workshops for the elderly- will take place in two local Youth Social Centers and in an Elderly Day Care Center managed by the Cooperative.
It will be taken into consideration the experience and interest of each participant in relational, artistic, sporting, manual and cultural activities.
