Resumo: The host organization is a youth centre. It´s a meeting point for youths between the age of 14 to 20 years and opened four days a week (Tuesday to Friday). Occasionally, there are events on weekends or Mondays.
The organization offers different activities, special events or consultation hours to pupils and young people. Such activities are sports, games or learning aid; special events encompass music courses, creative days, job-orientation, love and sexuality, cooking etc; consultation hours are on topics such as problems with the school, parents or friends. Additionally, the organization offers several groups conforming to the interests of the youths – such as a football group, a climbing group, a video club, a special breakfast once a week.
As a volunteer, you will work in one or several of these areas. The centre is sponsored by the Roman Catholic Church but we welcome youths with all their different religions.

Perfil: The only condition is: you have to be willing to work with young people. No further skills or experiences are required.
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The presence of an EVS volunteer supports the idea of a shared Europe and the development of European solidarity. By integrating the you in the activities and projects of the organization, the young people joining the organization are offered a different perspective in their daily life. EVS volunteers enrich and complete our work with youths. We foresee the following tasks for you:
! Develop project work with the youngsters
! Organize leisure time activities for the young people
! Being present at the team meetings

The opening hours of the H2 are Tuesday to Thursday from 11:30 to 17:00 and Friday from 11:30 to 20:00. So the working hours for you are: Tuesday to Thursday 10 to 12/13 to 17 o´clock and on Friday from 11 to 13/14 to 20 o´clock. Volunteers will work 30 hours a week We would like you to be present during the leisure time activities, interact with the youngsters and join them in their activities and games. This could be table football and –tennis, surf the
internet, watch videos, do something creative such as painting or drawing

Special activities
About half of the time we offer project-based activities, where the young people can participate. We would also like you to join in the project oriented work or take over the responsibility especially for projects where she/he can give special input. These projects are done in teamwork, so you will not be left alone with the tasks. Some projects last for one afternoon, others for several weeks and can be associated with one of the following topics:
! Theatre or literature: you can give input on plays, films books from her/his language or country.
! Human rights and anti-racism: you can take her/his own background and experiences for her/his country.
! Sports: if you like sports, we would invite her/him to one of the sports groups.
! Gender: especially if you are female, we would likeyou to participate in the projects especially for girls (on self –defence, discussions on sexuality etc.).
! International projects: H2 organises international youth exchanges. The EVS volunteer can help to organize theses exchanges (e.g. discussions and workshops on ´Europe´).
