Resumo: The project takes place in Italy, the general aim of the project is that of enforce, valorize and develop the voluntary service meant as motor of the sustainability. The volunteers involved working closely to the organization´s staff and they will have the opportunity to learn according with the methodology of the “learning by doing”.

The host organization is a no-profit, no-partisan and laic association, born in 2010 with the objective of promoting environment sustainability, alternative economic models which put human relations and an aware consumption as the basic principles of tomorrow's world. We also bind ourselves to promoting projects for an active citizenship, knowledge and multicultural exchange, and educative processes with the main mission of promoting solidarity, democracy and integration within local, national and international territory

Perfil: Knowledge of Italian will be preferred as well as experience in dealing with users, in organising workshops and cultural activities, horticulture and small maintenance work.
Volunteers will live in the museum’s guesthouse.

Age: 18-30

Tarefas: Activities will be related to the ecological museum in a mix of art and environment conservation and valorisation, such as:
- The make and translation in the volunteer’s language of informative flyers and other touristic material on the Ecomuseo, on the village and on the building techniques
- Support the management of a biological vegetable garden within the urban park
- Develop activities in the Artistic Workshop
- Maintenance of green and urban areas
- Support local staff in organising workshops on traditional building techniques using terra cruda and straw and in cultural events to promote the project.
- Organising children and/or disabled workshop in the Ecomuseo
- Making a Learning Kit for the visits of children and families
