Resumo: Objectives of the project:

1. Development of Social Art professional competences of involved volunteers through participation in non-formal activities in a community approach.

2. Growing a regional (N-E of Romania) network for EVS interested organizations through a direct Social-Art campaign about European values, social inclusion, solidarity, voluntaries’ values with an inter-culturality approach.

Tarefas: presenting EVS Programme around 6 counties in Romania; -developing "Arts clubs" for afterschool classes; - working for future project applications into european projects for developing Social Art Departament of EUROPANET Association.

Activity nr 1: After School class “My Art Class”
Tasks:
-develop a curriculum for the chosen group of working in a musical/ art after school (through German; English, French, Portuguesa, Spanish, Italian language);
-establishing non-formal activity plan for each session of work in the musica/ art after-school class (non-formal materials, non-formal approach with the musical/art teacher mentor);
-common evaluation with the project coordinator of the after school musical/art session;

Activity nr.2: “EVS in Tour”
Tasks:
-develop a "plan" for having this “Musical Band/ Art class” in a regional tour in all 6 counties from Moldova Region ( Iasi, Suceava, Neamt, Botosani, Bacau) ( planning, marketing, promotion, finding social meaning, fundraising activities) with project coordinator;
-collaborate with stakeholders into each local county community, with people responsible of Youth Policies, with EUROPANET volunteers;

Activity nr 3: “Social Art”
-plan on future projects for the Social Art Department of EUROPANET Association;
-find international partners for Social Art future partnership projects;
-helping staff of organisation with everyday work (fundraising, communication with local, national, international partners, etc.);

Horário: Working hours and days off:

- 5 days per week, 6 hours per day; two days off per week and 2 days holiday per month for the duration of the project;

-in the first project meeting EVS volunteer will establish with the project coordinator when will be the holiday days taken off;

Condições: Food and Accommodation: The volunteer will live in Iasi (town), single in the bedroom (common flat for volunteers involved in this project) with shared cooking, washing, laundry and social facilities. A weekly food allowance is provided (€ 35)

Local Transport: A monthly local transport allowance is provided (€20).

Volunteer Allowance: The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance of €60

Communication in mother tongue and in foreign languages

Communicating, socialising and negotiating in a second language (English is the project language);

In addition to ensuring effective mentoring for each volunteer, the Co-ordinating/ Host Organisation will take full responsibility for monitoring the whole learning process – explaining it fully at the on-arrival training, conducting a thorough mid-term evaluation and issuing the Youthpass Record of Achievement on completion of each volunteer’s service.

Crisis management:

The Co-ordinating/ Host organisation takes responsibility for raising awareness of risk assessment, risk prevention and high quality pastoral support within the EVS programme, both in Romania and in networking with our partners abroad.

Volunteers will be given advice on crisis prevention and management during on-arrival organizational training. They will also be provided with 24 hour emergency phone numbers. The Co-ordinating/ Host organisation will hold all necessary personal information and emergency contact details for each volunteer.
