Resumo: Since 2005 the organization is entitled to welcome young people on its territory in the framework of the European Voluntary Service Erasmus+ programme Youth & Sport (Accreditation as Receiving and Coordinating organization). A particular emphasis was placed in 2016 on this youth mobility scheme (presentation of experience of 10 years of European voluntary service). Twelve years later EVS still has positive effects.

Perfil: Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The main theme of the hosting project is the international mobility for young people, which is the connecting field of both departements (International Relations Department and Youth Information Centre).
The EVS project of the Municipality deals with promoting mobility among young people, especially by informing them about the opportunities given by the European Union, but also by giving them information and support for the local means : local scholarships for projects, support for structures, meetings with young people in schools, training sessions for youth and for the leaders of structures…

The aim is to show how an open mind to the outside world is important personally (intercultural meetings, discovering other cultures and countries, acquiring new competences…) as well as to promote, through international involvment, active citizenship and participation at a European and international level.
The volunteer will meet and work with young people aged from 16 to 22.

The missions will focus on the fields of the actions of the International Relations Department and of the Youth Information Centre, in order to offer coherence and complementarity between the two places of work. This will make the different tasks of the volunteer clearer and this way he will be able to follow shared projects and find support in both teams.
