Resumo: Lava Legato offers a project in the Feijenoord district in Rotterdam. The project is a collaboration with various non-profit organisations in Rotterdam that focus on social cohesion, the development of the area in the Feijenoord district and other social objectives. As a volunteer you work at a great variety of projects and organisations (related to sports, children, education and nonformal learning). Feijenoord is one of the poorest areas in Rotterdam. Organisation that we work with are: one of the biggest housing corporations in Rotterdam to set up activities for residents, a gym for handicapped people, a restaurant that offers work placements for students and an organisation that organises activities for children and young people.

Perfil: Motivation, flexiblitiy and openness to new experiences

Tarefas: Since the projects and activities are diverse, also your tasks will be diverse and varied. However all activities are related to supporting professionals and/or execute activities that focus on the Feijenoord area. Activities can be: assisting handicaped people in a gym that is especially furnished for them, assisting in a restaurant together with students, helping with organising activities for children in the neighbourhood, etc.
