Resumo: Youth center is a public institution, which was founded in 2001 by the municipality with the purpose of gathering and dissemination of information for young people, coordination and implementation of activities for youth, European cooperation in the field of youth, service activities for individuals and organizations and the implementation of activities of a broader importance and fundraising .

The youth center operates under the law of public interest in the youth sector and follows the statutory requirements of this Act in the field of youth. The center operates mainly at the local level, but connects and operates in the whole region. Our vision is that the center in 2020 becomes a development education center, which creates conditions for better standards of youth and progress of the whole local community and encourages young people for general social responsibility.

Perfil: aged from 18-29 years from Europe that are enthusiastic and motivated to take part in our project. The
only condition is a basic knowledge of English language and readiness for teamwork, manual work and working in the nature.

Tarefas: In August and September 2018, a group of 4 EVS volunteers will mark the part of the Slovenian Cycle Trail. They will set up markings and signposts on a 100 kilometer trail through beautiful region. The surrounding hills will be our everyday office and our mentors will be experienced mountain bike guides and youth workers of the Youth Center.
During the project, we are going to prepare different multimedia presentations about the Slovenian Cycling Trail and thus learn the basics of photography, movie making and basics of digital marketing. At the end of September we will finish our project with the final event, where we will present the results of our work to the public.
