Resumo: The host organization is the cultural reference point of the municipality of Burjassot. Every day an average of 600 people come to his facilities and different services offered. People of all ages and profiles are the ones who come. The volunteer will work with the youth sector of the population and, in some cases, the children's sector.

Perfil: Basic level of Spanish
Age: 18-30

Tarefas: The main tasks of the volunteer will be to collaborate in the project of Animación Lectora carried out by the organization in the Library, as well as specific tasks of the Adult Library (to serve the public, cataloging, purging, deposit of funds , etc.) . In addition, he will also participate in the National Agency as a juvenile informant and collaborate in the different projects that are carried out. Likewise, the volunteer, will be able to help and advise other young people of the municipality who are interested in carrying out the EVS.

The main and priority impact of this volunteering is to make our local young people aware of the importance of taking an active part in Europe. We do not want young people who are static and without a critical attitude. We want young people who are active, dynamic and who participate both locally and globally, who think, criticize, learn, and so on. All this is possible thanks to EVS.

On the other hand, once the EVS project is implemented, we want to start another one of Democracia Participa. We want the young volunteer to encourage and motivate our youth to take initiative and be a part of decision making, both locally and globally. We want to make them participate and that they are the ones who value, criticize, choose and decide freely. To do this, make us serve as a young person with initiative, motivation, interest, etc., as will be the EVS volunteer is of great importance, because they see another young person, another boy of his age who has taken the initiative and see that it is possible.
